Stinky Pete the Prospector (or simply known as The Prospector) is the one of the two main antagonists (alongside Al McWhiggin) of Pixar's third full-length animated feature film Toy Story 2. Stinky Pete is a vintage pull string toy from the 1950's, and inside his original box, his accessories include a pickaxe and a gold pan.
He is voiced by Kelsey Grammer in the film and by Stephen Stanton in Toy Story 3: The Video Game and Kinect Disneyland Adventures.
Personality[]
At first, Stinky Pete was friendly and acted like a grandfather figure and a mentor. However, he soon snapped and turned out to be evil, having grown bitter at the fact that he spent his life on a dime-store shelf and was never sold.
On the TV show, Woody's Roundup, Stinky Pete was a regular, recurring protagonist. Though depicted mostly as an accident-prone, simple-minded hillbilly, Pete was established on the show as an overall good-natured friend and ally of Woody, Bullseye, and Jessie.
